‘What is Happiness, Really?’ – Fr. Steven Voss

Fr. Steven Voss - Pastor - Saint Joseph Catholic Church - Fort Collins - Colorado - 80521“The Number 1 reason people are unhappy comes from a lack of faith,” says Fr. Steven Voss, Pastor, Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Fr. Steven adds that unhappy people often struggle with a “sense of not being known”, but Jesus knows us beyond our imagining, and we can always turn to Him. As Jesus loves us, so loving each other should be our great goal. “When the Devil tries to convince us that we are alone, we must boldly turn toward Christ and the Christian community, and prove him wrong,” adds Fr. Steven. Searching for happiness? Fr. Steven urges us to remember that “Christ remains as our greatest wealth, our greatest source of joy, and our true happiness.” Click on this link or the video above to listen to Fr. Steven’s complete homily of May 19, 2014.
