Deacon Warren Lybarger was raised on a farm west of Sterling Colorado. He attended elementary school in a one-room country school with one teacher for eight grades. He graduated from Sterling High school in 1951, attending Colorado A&M (CSU), later studying Accounting and Taxation through LaSalle Extension University of Chicago.
Deacon Warren married Edna Cordova in August 1952. They have four children, Warren E. Sr., Stephen, Timothy and Suzanne Marie. They have nineteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Warren worked as a printer for 13 years. He began his own private accounting practice in 1966 and practiced until September 1985 when he became Business Administrator here at Saint Joseph Catholic Church. He retired as Business Administrator in December 2006.
Deacon Warren was ordained as a permanent deacon on June 16, 1984. He has served since then as a deacon here at Saint Joseph Catholic Parish with the exception of three years at Saint John the Evangelist Parish in Loveland. Prior to being ordained a deacon he served on various committees as well as a lector and Eucharistic Minister. Deacon Warren is still active in part-time diaconal ministry in the marriage preparation program, and assists those who are in need of the Church’s Annulment process.

Regular Mass schedule: Monday through Friday – Mass at 6:30 a.m. followed by confessions; more confessions 11:30-noon, Mass - 12:10 p.m Saturday – Mass at 8 a.m. followed by confessions. Saturday – Mass at 4 p.m. Sunday – Masses at 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. Sunday – Mass at 5 p.m.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Wednesdays, 7 a.m. – noon
