Parish work day a blessing clothed in sweat and toil

Parish staff and parishioners teamed up Tuesday to work on the Howes Street frontage of Saint Joseph Catholic Church and School. What a day! We took out four truckloads of shrub trimmings and other yard debris, shoveled out two rock beds, shoveled in 15 yards of mulch, cleaned and reorganized parish office common areas, and added new plantings to the courtyard on the west side of the church. At the end of the day, exhausted though we were, we realized how blessed we are to have this beautiful, historic facility, and we are so grateful for all the donations we have received to update our historic stained glass windows and our beautiful complex. As for yesterday, thank you so much to everyone who pitched in and helped! Click on the photo below for more pictures of the day.
