Gathering of Men Retreat nurtures, encourages a better way of life

COLORADO — Join Catholic and Christian men January 22 – 24, 2016 to share reflections on life and spiritual journeys at the 25th Annual Gathering of Men Retreat in Estes Park.

Our mission is to provide an experience where men can speak openly and honestly about the challenges of living their Christian faith, encourage one another in supportive relationships and challenge each other to live more prayerful and holy lives.

The weekend retreat is presented by a group of committed lay men and two Catholic priests, Monsignor Ken Leone and Fr. John Lager, a Capuchin Franciscan Friar.

Accommodations

Cost is per person and includes retreat fee, all meals on Saturday, as well as Sunday breakfast. Lodging is included in all except the self-arranged lodging in cabin option. If you select this option, you must call the YMCA directly to arrange and pay for your lodging.

Longs Peak Lodge rooms have two queen-size beds
1 man in a private room — $295
2 men sharing one room — $195 per person
3 men sharing one room — $175 per person
Self-arranged lodging in cabin – $100 per person

Early registration is encouraged!

To register go to: www.coloradocatholicretreats.org. Check-in begins Friday at 4:30 p.m. in the lobby at Longs Peak Lodge, YMCA of the Rockies, 2515 Tunnel Road, Estes Park, CO, 80511. Retreat begins promptly at 7 p.m. Friday and concludes Sunday at noon.

About Karin Livingston

Mrs. Livingston taught at Saint Joseph Catholic School with a State of Colorado teaching license for 15 years before moving into the parish-school technology coordinator position in 2006. Mrs. Livingston was instrumental in piloting the technology aspects of the school literacy program, including introduction of the Accelerated Reader reading practice program, and the Student Teacher Assessment of Reading (STAR) program. Mrs. Livingston has been a parishioner at Saint Joseph Catholic Church since 1993. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Science from the University of California at Davis. Mrs. Livingston blogs and is the author of the young-adult equestrian novel, Winning Bet.
