Fortnight for Freedom: Rally at the Capitol June 22

Fortnight for FreedomDENVER — Archbishop Aquila has called all people of good will to rally at the Capitol June 22, 12 – 2 p.m., on the west steps,  in support of our most fundamental freedoms.

The U.S. bishops have called for a Fortnight for Freedom, a two-week period of united prayer and action to address many current challenges to religious liberty. These include the August 1, 2013 deadline for religious organizations to comply with the HHS mandate, Supreme Court rulings that could redefine marriage in, and religious liberty concerns in areas such as immigration and humanitarian services.

The “Prayer in the Square” rally is an ecumenical event for the entire family – bring your friends and meet us on the west steps of the Capitol!
