Grab the opportunity to try the popular ‘33 Days’ Hearts Afire programs in two new classes at St. Joseph Parish.
“33 Days to Morning Glory”, the first phase of the programs, opens a new class here February 20, and is based on “Consoling the Heart of Jesus”, the popular book by Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC. The second new class, 33 Days to Merciful Love Group Retreat, is a first-ever offering for our parish, and is based on Fr. Michael’s book, “33 Days to Merciful Love”. The Merciful Love Retreat starts March 14, and goes deeper than the “33 Days to Merciful Love” book alone, exploring new material on the heart of St. Thérèse of Lisieux’s Little Way.
The new section of “33 Days to Morning Glory” runs Monday nights, Feb. 20 – March 27, 6:30 – 8 p.m. in Meredith Hall. RSVP to Desiree, (970) 222 – 5826. This class is ideal for those thinking about entrusting themselves to Mary for the first time.
The 33 Days to Merciful Love Retreat will also explore the power of trust in the face of personal darkness, inspiring participants to become great saints amid ordinary circumstances, and laying the foundation for a personal consecration to Divine Mercy. The 33 Days to Merciful Love Group Retreat is a six-week retreat and falls within Stage Three* of the Hearts Afire Program. You need not have taken the previous retreats to participate. Sessions begin at 6:30 p.m., March 14, in Meredith Hall, with the goal of a consecration and celebration on Divine Mercy Sunday. Materials need to be ordered individually in advance. Register: JMJlinda@gmail.com, (970) 493 – 3334.
