Denver Bishop Jorge Rodriguez celebrated Mass and spoke at the 9th Annual Clergy and Religious Appreciation Banquet hosted by the Serra Club of Northern Colorado, Tues., Oct. 17, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.

Bishop Rodriquez told appreciation banquet attendees that a nun took him to visit the poor and sparked his vocation

Bishop Rodriguez, who became interested in the priesthood when a nun took him with her to visit the poor, urged attendees to be the seed of encouragement for someone who shows signs of interest in religious life.
